Phantom Music Control: An In-Depth Look
Phantom Music Control is a universal music control widget that can hide itself when no track is playing. It is designed to work with WidgetLocker Lockscreen but can also function on your home screen. The program is free and available on Android.
Phantom Music Control supports a wide range of music players, including Stock and modded Android Music, Google Music (Pro only), HTC Music, MusicMOD, PlayerPro, PowerAMP, UberMusic (Fede's Music App; Pro only), BeyondPod (Pro only), Experimentally Samsung TouchWiz (Pro only), and almost any other player (such as doubleTwist, Winamp, Meridian, ³/Cubed, MortPlayer, MIUI, Zimly, Songbird, Pocket Casts, Sony Walkman, n7 Player etc.) in compatibility mode.
The program has several features such as auto-hide with various hide/reveal settings, WidgetLocker events integration, the possibility to show/remove some elements such as volume control and current track info, nine graphical and two chromeless themes, battery saving mode with almost zero energy consumption, and localization to 19 languages.
It's worth noting that not all players are supported, and you need to hold your finger on your home screen to place a widget. The app cannot be found in the application drawer.
